Radu Neculau (PhD New School NYC) is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Windsor. His areas of research specialization are: Social and political philosophy; Kant; Hegel; and 19th Century European philosophy; Contemporary continental philosophy (phenomenology and hermeneutics, the critical theory of the Frankfurt School). Notably, his recent publications cover Kant’s political philosophy and the recognition theory of Axel Honneth. Dr. Neculau’s earlier publications include a book on the critique of foundationalism in hermeneutics, critical theory, and pragmatism. At present, he is completing the manuscript of a book on Hegel’s social philosophy, with an additional long-term research focus on the problem of massification in modern societies
