Linda Feldman (PhD McGill) is Associate Professor of Germanic Studies in the Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures at the University of Windsor. Her research interests comprise: Language; Culture; Dutch Muslims; Theo van Gogh; Dutch Literature by Muslims; Maxim Biller; German-Jewish Literature; Multiculturalism in the Netherlands; Dutch Immigration Policy; Holocaust Studies. Notably, Dr. Feldman has lectured and published on women and Jews in the works of H.J.C. von Grimmelshausen, and the writing and reception of the memoirs of Glückel von Hameln. Together with Diana Orendi, Dr. Feldman is editor of a volume of essays on Jewish identities in 20th century German culture. At present, she is President of the Canadian Association for the Advancement of Netherlandic Studies, and she is also working on a project about the problematic s of contemporary Dutch identity.
