James Gilbert-Walsh (PhD Toronto) is an Associate Professor in the Department of Philosophy at St. Thomas University. His areas of research interest comprise: 19th and 20th Century European Philosophy; German Idealism; and The History of Ethical and Political Thought. Dr. Gilbert-Walsh is well-published and has a number of recent publications, including: “Transcendental Exhaustion: Repeating Heidegger’s Fundamental Ontology” (Philosophy Today); “Deconstruction as Narrative Interruption” (Interchange); and “Revisiting the Concept of Time: Archaic Perplexity in Bergson and Heidegger" (Human Studies).
