Béland, Martine

Martine Béland holds a doctoral degree in philosophy (Paris) and graduate degrees in German Studies (Montreal), Political Studies (Paris), and Philosophy (Ottawa). She has published on Nietzsche, Jünger, and Weimar intellectuals, and her present research projects focus on the reception and impact of Nietzschean thought in German-speaking countries. Dr. Béland is associate researcher at the Canadian Centre for German and Europoean Studies (Montreal) and teaches philosophy at the Collège Édouard-Montpetit (Longueuil).
