Germano-Slavica is a reviewed journal. Articles should actively explore the intersections, cross-connections, and frictions between Slavic and Germanic cultures in any historical period, including literature, linguistics, music, film, history and politics. Preference is given to articles that deal with both Slavic and Germanic cultural elements; "Germanic" in this context includes English-language and Scandinavian cultures, while "Slavic" under certain circumstances may also include non-Slavic cultures within the Russian Imperial, Soviet, or contemporary Russian sphere of influence.

The Journal of Comparative Germanic Linguistics provides a platform for discussion of theoretical linguistic research into the modern and older languages and dialects of the Germanic family. Contributions that establish robust empirical generalizations within a formal theory of grammar that permit precise discussions are welcome. The empirical range of the work may either involve cross-linguistic comparison within the Germanic family or elucidate issues in Germanic linguistics through the exemplary analysis of one Germanic language.

Areas of linguistics covered include: Morphology, Phonology, Pragmatics, Semantics and Syntax.

The journal will be published three times per year in the English language. Squibs, replies, book and dissertation reviews will be included.

Jahrbuch für Geschichte der Literatur und Wissenschaften / Yearbook for the History of Literature, Humanities and Sciences

Studia Neophilologica is the journal of the association Föreningen för Studia Neophilologica. It publishes articles on English, German and the Romance languages and literatures, and reviews of books in these fields.

The contributions represent both historically oriented research and synchronic and structural studies, and the journal is not limited to any particular linguistic or literary period. Many articles concern methodological questions within the fields of general linguistics and literary theory. The majority of the contributions, however, investigate specific linguistic problems or deal with specific literary texts.

The journal thus covers a wide and diversified field in its attempt to mirror the problems that concern today's researchers in the fields of English, German and Romance studies.
